Existing vacant factory stripped out, asbestos removed, and made watertight ready for further works.
Redundant areas of the buildings were demolished and missing sections of roof and floor were reinstated to provide one large industrial space for the installation of new production lines.
5,000 sq.ft. of new factory space was created and 10,000 sq.ft. of new offices were designed to fit inside the existing shell. 4,000 sq.ft. of offices were built from scratch at the front of the building.
In order to prepare for the new use, the original boilers were replaced, new loading bays were installed, and new car parks constructed.
Finally, we did the setting out of the new machinery and prepared escape routes, and peripheral spaces for moving and storing the finished product, ready for installation of the machinery by the client.
